Tassel Depot announced the release of its first Annual Scholarship opportunity this past weekend. The Tassels 4 Education® Annual Scholarship will award four students who creatively showcase Living and Learning in their Ideal America through either creative writing or photography.
“As an all-American company with a rich heritage, we want to support our youth and encourage creativity and education for our future leaders of this Country,” Says CEO Roger Leavy, “Students earn their tassel by following a curriculum, and we wanted to give them the opportunity to express themselves outside of the proverbial curriculum box and be rewarded for it.“
The candidates who have eligibility to apply for the scholarship are graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled full or part-time college students who have at least one full year remaining. Those who apply must have their entry completed and submitted by May 31, 2017 at 11:59 pm. The four winners will receive prizes of either $1,000, $750, $500 or $250 will be contacted by July 14, 2017. The finalists will need to have at least a 2.5 GPA and submit an official transcript and letter of recommendation.
