In the face of the current coronavirus pandemic, people around the world have stepped up to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. People are practicing social distancing, staying at home, and implementing proper sanitation such as washing hands frequently and disinfecting highly used surfaces. Face masks, face shields, and other personal protective equipment (PPE) serves as another line of defense against coronavirus and its resulting respiratory disease.

At Tassel Depot, we have been doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the curve. Our highest priority is to protect the health and well-being of our employees and customers. So while we continue to keep our operations open, we have developed a series of COVID-19 safety and sanitation guidelines you can read about here.

Face Mask

Made in The U.S. Face Masks for Coronavirus Protection

All our coronavirus face masks are made of 100% cotton and manufactured in the U.S. These masks are not medical grade certified, but they are made up of two layers of durable fabric. Secured with elastic ear loops, our face masks are designed to be breathable and fit comfortably over your mouth and nose.

Both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have recommended the use of face masks to protect against the novel coronavirus.¹ The CDC recommends wearing a cloth face mask or covering in public settings.² A growing number of cities are putting face mask mandates into effect to help stop the spread of COVID-19.³

While studies on the effectiveness of cloth face masks for coronavirus protection remain limited,⁴ they can be worn on top of heavy-duty PPE such as N95 respirators which are used by healthcare professionals. Another way to increase the effectiveness of our coronavirus face masks is by also wearing a protective face shield.

Face Shields That Are Protective and Comfortable

Fortunately, Tassel Depot is also offering face shields for coronavirus protection. Like our coronavirus face masks, our face shields are not medical grade certified. These plastic shields can be worn over a cotton mask, surgical mask, or respirator for full face protection. Our face shields are one size fits all and are contoured for comfort and coverage. Attached with an elastic back and foam head cushion, they can protect you from droplets, particles, dust, and smoke. Clear and lightweight, they can become part of your everyday PPE get up.
