Terms and Conditions

All orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) or Priority Mail from the U.S. Postal Service.  All orders will be paid by Credit Card, PayPal or be Prepaid. Freight charges are additional.

Credit Cards
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases.  Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number.  Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. 

Florida Customers
We are required to collect Sales Tax on your order.  If this order is for resale, please advise us in the comments section on the Billing Information page.  You must Fax (954-698-0009) or Email (info@tasseldepot.com) us your appropriate resale certificate.  Upon receipt of valid documentation before your order is placed, we will change your account to tax exempt status.  Form # DR13 or DR14 is required.

All States but Florida
If the Ship To address is in Florida, regardless of the Bill to Address, we are required to collect sales tax.

Same Day Shipping
Tassel Depot is proud to offer “Same Day Shipping” as a standard for its customers who place in stock orders before 3:30 PM EST. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday, Sunday, or legal Holidays.  The estimated time of arrival time for an order depends on the shipping method which is selected during checkout. UPS Ground transit times can be seen on the map below which indicates how many business days it should take for a package to arrive. Please do not count today, Saturday or Sunday in calculating transit time.

If an order is already placed and you need to change the shipping method, please call us immediately at 954-698-0000.   

Delivery Policy:
Tassel Depot shall not be liable for any delayed delivery due causes beyond Tassel Depot’s Control, including, but not limited to: the weather, insufficient or incorrect information provided by the customer, the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment, natural disasters, and any other carrier problems.  If any inconvenience or any monetary loss, penalty, or extra charge was incurred in the process of a late delivery, it should be settled with the shipping carrier. We will provide assistance in the event the shipping carrier is unable to meet their delivery guarantee. Please contact customer service for further assistance. Any claims for a late deivery must be made within Ten (10) days, No Exceptions. 

Residential & Business Addresses
If your address is rated as Residential by UPS Shipping Systems and you do not select the Residential Option, we will add the UPS residential surcharge of $3.50 to your invoice.

UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box.  A street address is required on all UPS shipment.

Address Correction
Please confirm that you have entered the correct address. Should you enter an incorrect address or a P.O. Box on a UPS shipment, there will be a $20.00 surcharge for address correction which will be billed at a later date.

Back Orders
Tassel Depot maintains a healthy inventory of the majority of its products.  Should something be out of stock and on Back Order, the customer will be notified as soon as possible of the estimated delivery time.  Please contact Customer Service at 954-698-0000 for any specific concerns re delivery.   

International Shipping Policy for Canada
Please allow approximately 1 week for delivery.  The shipping cost will be automatically shown on the checkout page upon selecting the correct shipping method.  It is calculated based on the weight and destination of your order.   The shipping fee reflects the base shipping charge and does not include any customs duties and taxes. All prices are shown in US dollars.  Your credit card company will calculate the exchange rate and present it in your monthly statement.

Return Policy
Returns:  Bundles or Bags cannot be broken.  Returns or exchanges will not be accepted without a written Return Material Authorization (RMA).   Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus freight.  No returns or exchanges accepted after 45 days from date of order. 

GRADUATION ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE OR EXCHANGABLE FOR SANITARY REASONS AND DUE TO THEIR SEASONAL NATURE.

It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for the return shipping and to make sure that the shipment is packaged appropriately, according to UPS guidelines to prevent damages.

Once our Returns Department receives the return, there will be a thorough inspection of the item(s) to confirm that the return has been delivered as expected. Allow 10-15 business days normal processing of returns.

The returns department performs a thorough inspection of the items returned to confirm that the return is delivered as expected. Any discrepancies found with what is verbally explained to our customer service rep may result in our refusal of the return.

Item Damaged Upon Receipt (due to mishandling by shipping carrier)
If a shipment is damaged by the carrier, it is important that you immediately notify the carrier and our customer service department.  Our friendly customer service representatives will gladly accept the return and provide either a replacement or a 100% refund. In all cases either a RMA or Credit Memo will be issued.  In order to receive a replacement immediately, the customer will be asked to provide his/her credit card information once again and place another payment, which will be credited once the return is finalized.

Wrong Items were shipped (or items are missing in the shipment)
Our Shipping Department takes pride in its shipping accuracy rate.  However if you do receive an incorrect item due to a shipping error or if your order is incomplete, please call customer service department to report the error and a supervisor will be able to provide you with a satisfactory resolutionThe customer service supervisor is required to gather the order information, such as total weight of the package delivered and total expected weight, and investigate with the appropriate department / carrier to confirm the customer’s claim

If the order was shipped incompletely, the customer will be sent the remainder of the items that were missing from the shipment immediately. 

If the wrong item was shipped to the customer, we will ship a replacement immediately. 

Please remember that any damages that occur in return shipping due to insufficient packaging will be subject to refusal by the Receiving Department and a void of the RMA.

Other Sales Policy Guidelines

  • Pricing and availability of products are subject to change without notice.
  • Promotional pricing is only valid when advertised. When a sale ends the discounted price is no longer valid.
  • Coupons cannot be combined: a Maximum of One Coupon or Discount May be applied per order.
  • Coupons are subject to change without Notice.  

Tassel Depot is not responsible for Photographic or typographic errors.  Error will be corrected where discovered, and Tassel Depot reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and where or not the order has been confirmed  and your credit card charges.   We are sorry for any errors and apologize for any inconvenience.
